A long-time good friend reminded me recently that I had created a funny pen and ink cartoon of vegetables with tennis shoes many years ago in my college days. He asked that I recreate it and I was happy to do so. Titled the “Vegetable Crew” pictured are some very cool vegetables decked out in dark “Old School” sunglasses and “Styl’N with throwback gray sneakers. From left to right you will find: broccoli, carrot, potato, green pepper, tomato, cucumber, turnip, onion, and eggplant. This could be a marvelous teaching tool for children showing them how cool vegetables can be!
